You can get a new one from Ford Motorsport. At least you used to. I got mine 6 years ago. They give you a decent handbook along with it as well.

 

it seems very expensive though. im thinking of doing it this way also so i can learn about the wiring so i can repair it and know what im doing when i do. i think it will be a learning experience, what do you think?

 

I can't remember how much I paid for mine. $200 maybe? But whatever's clever. I'm all about saving money, so if you can make it work, go for it on a used one.

Call 1 of the resto/salvage places in the Mustang magazines. I'm sure you can find 1. I got my computer from a bone yard. My car was a 4 to 8 cyl swap.
