Default Compression Ratio

I have a quickie question, i have srp flat tops 10:1 CRs, i know that 10:1 is not ideal for adding a s/c or turbo. Is there anyway to lower the compression without new pistons?

-engine is a 347 stroker, let me know what other info would help.

I'm not totally sure but I think your out of luck.
I think you should go naturally aspirated and make a powerhouse of a car.

the piston swap is really the only way to go. you could run a thicker head gasket but even that might only lower compression to 9.9:1

yea i thought i was out of luck, i order my heads afr 165s so i know ill gain alot from that. im running thumper e7s and compared to my dads 347 in his 88 mine is a joke. Thats why i was thinking boost, honestly the stroker is cracking out the power i was expecting i know the heads are killing it but well hell heres the build

Trickflow street head upper and lower
24lb inj.
75mm maf cal'd for the 24s
BBK 75mm TB
bored 30 over
SRP Pistons-Flat tops
Eagle Forged Crank
Crane Custom grind
1.7 crane gold rockers

i have all the supporting stuff also like 3.73s, ram power grip clutch(an amazing add on glad i chose this clutch), light weight flywheel, Tremec tranny, full suspension with sub frames.

You can Run 70cc heads and a thick cosmedic head gasket. That would lower your compression.

Get some stuff milled of the top of the piston. I'll bet you could take of .060.
Not the best way to do but that would lower CR. Then use 70cc heads, thick gaskets and be easy on boost.
Another way way to do is to send me the pistons and then order a set that's what you need........
