Default Steering Wheel Mod

Hey all, I got a GT Wheel from Autozone for my 85 Mustang, and it seems that it doesan't fit exactly right, It has like a loose play to it, and if I make the nut to tight I can't move my wheel at all... Anyone ever have this problem?

Thanks

Default RE: Steering Wheel Mod

dont you need the hub adapter? what steering wheel are you talking about the stock mustang gt wheel or the grant gt wheel? if its an aftermarket wheel you;; probably need a hub adapter. on my 87 gt i ditched the wiretaped totally ripped baremedal ring factory wheel for a ::gasp:: sparco 3 spoke with a momo hub. perfect fit wired up the horn and everything. sounds like your missing something. im pretty sure the columns and the whole wheel hardware is pretty much the same in your stang as mine but i could be wrong...
