ok, i have a 88 notch 4cyl 5 speed. i was thinking i missed my 85 5.0 so i was going to buy another. what do you guys think of a 351 in a notch like that? how hard is it? im thinking of going carb'd and taking out all the efi. also changing the front clip to 82 gt nose and fenders. mainly the body is easy for me but i have never done a conversion. any help on how difficult, hp ratings (ols stock motors, or a place to get a good price on recond.), 50.0 or 5.7? all the help or insight you could give would help this project hopefuly go smoothly. thanks

I saw a 351 powered notch go 11.6 @124mph on motor.
351 swaps are common, but are costly.
you need a foxbody 351 oil pan, 351 swap headers (cheapest I could find was $600)
351 distributor, and you will need to strengthen everything to handle the power.
