Its one of those things you can figure out when you look at it. You just drop the tank out, unhook the neck from the side of the tank, its on top of the tank down inside of it. You should be able to figure it out when you get under there.

^and thats pretty much it. i had to do this at the beginning of the year, and that was the first time i've done a fuel pump. it wasn't as complicated as i thought. if worse comes to worse though order a haynes book. your local automotive shop or your pep boys or auto zone could probably order you one. they go for about $22 bucks, and some odd change. i have one for all three of my vehicles, and i use it everytime i gotta make a repair. very informative step by step detail. works for me, and i aint been to a mechanic in over 18 years[psshh almost as long as i been driving!] good luck.

yeah i'd let the pressure down. when i did mine i bled all the fuel out[i probably only had a few gallons at the time]. and yeah dude the chiltons one i didn't think was as good. if everything works for you though when you do stuff i'd say do it though. just curious though as to what you've done that you've winged? fuel pump is a pretty serious thing, but it's not complicated. oh and also how did your fuel pump go[if it did]? just all the miles, and wear, and tear? just curious cause i had one that went defective prematurely cause of a relay problem.

yeah similar to what happened to mine. if you can do a radiator the fuel pump shouldn't be so tough. i'd say out of everything i've ever done with cars the radiator was the 2nd biggest pain to do[1st being replacing a transmission]. i gotta give you credit though for working on the things yourself. a lot of people will throw their cars into the shop, and what not. after a bad experience[my first car 73 mach 1 being in the shop for 3 weeks after i bought it for a tune up, and some tires,] i've never been to a mechanic again.
