differential is leaking
when i first got my car the rearend had no stains.. looking at it today i could see the bottom was wet. common thing on most mustangs.
looking at getting a mr.gasket cover and seal what do u guys think?

I would go with what ever fluid you want but while your at it I would install this cover instead.

dont have $130 for a cover.. id say $35 for a chrome cover and gasket is worth the money although that trickflow cover is nice.. i just dont see the need for it

you should use 80w90 gear oil, they call it gear oil for a reason.
make sure you add at least 1 bottle of limited slip additive, ford is the best one.
the rear takes around 3 litres of oil.
the covers with bearing supports help for high horsepower applications, and make it easier to fill/drain, because they come with fill and drain plugs built in.
I have a T&A performance girdle cover and it is the same as the trickflow, and all the other covers like that.
there is no point to getting a chrome cover, unless your car is a showcar.
if the oil is coming from where the driveshaft bolts on it will be a little more involved than just changing the cover gasket.
