RE: installed cobra intake today
I marked the rotor, where it was pointing inside the dis with a sharpie before disasemmbly as well as a sribe at the dist base and the block, yes it is getting fire, ouch that hurh just a little, MSD 6AL is a hot spark, yes it is getting fuel, I did not turn crank at all with the dist out, no battery connected, I put it all back together as it was lined up with the marks, i know the lack of egr should only throw a permenant check light till the elim shows with ups, I pulled the plug check time, it is 13 degrees, put the plug back in, tryed to start it, on the third attempt it backfired. since then no signs of life. I pulled the plugs, they were soaked, sprayed each plug with start fliud, then lit it, to burn off gas, put em back, still no start, I have done this before, three intakes three diff cars, never this before, all the others started as soon as primed, go figure.
