Ok my friend just bought a basicaly stock 88 gt for 1500. well the kid that owned it prior hooked a toggle switch so that you can start it with that after turning the key to on because the car wont start with they key itself. anyways i was looking and i think it might be the nuetral safety switch for a manual, dont know what it is called. anyways only reason is when u try useing the key it acks as if the clutch isnt down when it is. also you can start it with the toggle if the clutch isnt pushed in at all. so does anyone have any ideas on if this sounds right and how to fix it. BTW the kid said it all happened after he installed a new steeds clutch quandrant. so i am guessing it is this. thnx Craig
