ELECTRIC FAN SETUP

ELECTRIC FAN SETUP
Can anyone out there supply me with Electric Fan info. Brands and Part numbers? This would be for my 1987 347 stroker with MAF.
This would be for standard stock radiator.
Thanks again for the help.

RE: ELECTRIC FAN SETUP
Here's the aftermarket alternative to junkyard cruising.
Flex-a-lite and proform are the ones that pop up on summitracing.com so I'll give you these part numbers.
FLX-185 - $285.95
FLX-175 - $221.95
PRO-67015 - $125.88
I personally have experience with the FLX-185, its a great fan, installation is super clean easy, and it moves so much air through the radiator, it's crazy. It's real easy to adjust the temp that the fan comes on at also. Keeps your stock overflow bottle in the same position and everything.

RE: ELECTRIC FAN SETUP
Thanks for the info. I'll check both options (used and new). I'd show a picture of my car but it is not done yet. Sitting in my paint booth all taped up with the crappy brown sealer coat on it.
So far:
1987 LX Hatchback
347 Stroker
GT-40X Swirl heads
Cobra Intake
30lb. Injectors
76mm MAF
Hooker Shorty Headers
Thanks again and if more of you have info, keep it coming.

RE: ELECTRIC FAN SETUP
I found instructions on how to install one of those Mark VIII fans. I think I'll take this route. Thanks.
