My driver side door lock sumtimes doesnt pop up all the way when i hit my button on remote but the passenger side always pops up fine. What would i need to fix this? Also my driver side window jus started squeaking only on the way up...what could that be? Any info appreciated

 

Pop the door panel and check it out. It should only take about 2 mintues to take the door panel off... literally. Just take the switch cover off (one screw) and than there are two screws holding the buttons on (take them off) pull the switches through the door and than the armrest screws. After that it should just come out....

 

yeah i had a similar problem. take the door panel off and check to see if any of the metal connectors are bent or out of shape. you might need to replace the lock altenator if thats not the problem

 

ok thx ill try an take it off. Arent there clips i have to pop out also?

 

the clips are fstened tot he back of the door panel, they will come off with the panel, the actuator may be shot or else the bushings inside may need to be replaced, all can be had at 50resto.com. Good Luck
