If the body and engine are in pretty good to really good shape, then yeah, go for it. Is it stock?

i joined on 9/11 because my motor decided to throw a connecting rod through my block...anyway on the '84 i was asking about it is completly stock, it has no dents or rust...it has been under a car cover in his garage for years...he said it might need a new convertible top...good deal?

If it it starts and idles good, sounds good, no visible damage, no rust on the underside, decent interior, buy it. I dont care if it needs a rebuild on the tranny, the top will run you about a grand installed at the right shop.
