i had the hps on my cobra. nothing really special about them. i like the steeda billet alum ones, because you can adjust the ride height with only a 1/2 socket.

since you have lowering springs, you should get these so you can jack the car back up 1" for better hook up.

Could have my lowered ride on the street, and jack it up for the track .

Aluminum or the adjustables?

Get the adjustables and set the rear end at -2 degrees and your done(nose of carrier just a bit down from level).
With both control arms on you will notice a great difference.By the way, they only work if you have the tires that can help plant them.
BFG drag radials or my favorite--Nitto's as well as slicks.

Adjusting the uppers is really for keeping the car launching straight or having a certain cornering characteristic - think of as doing a rear wheel alignment - if your launching hard and not straight - then adjustable uppers can help cure that problem. And of course the lower control arms are good for adjusting ride height and loading the suspension.

Adjustables on both are really not necessary in my opinion unless your car is a road racer or you'r pulling your front wheels off the ground and are launching crooked. Oh, yea 1 more thing, adjustable lowers work great if you like to swap big slicks on your car at the track and need to jack up the rear for added clearance.

I replaced my control arms, but I only spent $150ish for all 4 arms - non adjustable of course - and they work wonders.

But for my application, I want handling on the street, but I can jack up the back abit at the track for better launching
Right?

So I should just get the Adjustable lower and get the regular upper?

that would be good. but make sure to get the adjustable lowers that i showed you. they make 2 kinds of adjustable lowers. the one that raises and lowers the spring, and the other changes angles of the rear end
