i went 2 the local drag strip the other night and i almost cryed at what was happening the mustangs,trans ams,and pretty much every other v8 were geting malested buy hondas the fastest car there was a civic which ran a 8.99 and it was street legal and if u ask them they told me it was very cheap 2 make hondas stupid fast like less then 6500 if u shop around its called ls vtec u thank i should go back 2 honda

If you really are asking that question then go get your VTech. I guarentee the guy who ran a 8.99 had more than 6500$ in it. My ex-gf's dad was a spnsored drag racer, and he had a 7 sec camaro, and an 8 second fastback. He had over 100 grand in the camaro, and around 85k in the fastback. It doesnt take that much for a DD, but no way he ran an 8 on 6500 bucks. Your 5.0 can get a high 10 low 11 for 6500.
