I was wondering if my first mod should be to change the computer to one from an 87-93? I have a 95 Vert.. Which computer is best?

I heard bad things about the 94-95 computers as well. When I first got mine and started modding it, it would act up like the computer didn't know how to adjust. Eventually I figured out if you bump the timing once you start modding, the computer works as good as any other. I would save your money and keep the computer.

A more effective and less expensive option, is installing an alternate EEC control (Tweecer/PMS/EEC-Tuner)....no wiring alterations are needed + it will accomodate any upgrades you "throw" at it, by allowing the modification of the internal logic. My 2¢.
