Default BBK SSI install problem

Need Help. Installing the BBK SSI on my 93 GT. I am putting the fuel rails together now, and the directions say " Place one of the small o-rings into the machined groove on the bottom of the Fuel Pressure Reg. mount and attach to the fuel rail." There is no machined groove on the bottom of the bracket or on the fuel rail. I need a seal on one side or the other to keep the fuel from leaking. Without a groove it wont seal right, or would it??Has anyone had this problem?

Here this is. I realize this is the stock regulator, its the same either way, but this is the lil machined part you are describing for the fuel regulator. The lil o-ring slips over and fits in that space.

When I put my BBK intake together, the FRP was a little confusing
but it does go together right,
There should be a little ressed area that the o-ring goes into if I remember right.

also make sure you dont put the FPR on backwards .... I did.

also: you will need to enlargen the the machined out groove next to the TB
opening so that the IAC doesnt hit.

Hope yours works out, I had PCV oil issues on mine. Might want to
fab up a custom baffle plate to cover the bottom hole that the PCV vents thru.
and use an air/oil separator

Thanks for the fast reply. I see the fuel press. reg., I have an o-ring the reg. and installed the mount onto the FPR. The side that mounts to the rail is where I have not groove for an o-ring. Its just flat. If i was to install the mount onto the fuel rail, both surfaces are flat and no place for a o-ring to seat. I believe bbk may have forgot to machine it like they say they did in the directions

Here is a pic. Of the mount and fuel rail. The hole in the middle of the mount is where the directions describe a machined surface for the o-rings they gave me. No surface for an o-ring to go into on the mount or rail.
Do you think bbk just forgot to machine it? If i install the mount on the rail like this it will leak, wouldnt it?

Man I really cant remember for sure but I dont think there is a gasket there.

There was a ressed grove on the other side of that bracket where the FRP plug'd into right?
thats where i remember the o-ring went.

Install it and see if it leaks, then go from there.

If you call BBK you want to ask for Brian Rogers and dont call before 3pm PST
or you'll never get him.

careful with the upper to lower gasket too, they rip easy.
Summit has them and they only cost $6, but you have to call BBK and get the part number then call Summit
they're not listed on Summits web site anywhere.
