Default Nitrous...

Thinkin about doing a little shot of nitrous, 50-75 shot. What risks are involved? hurting engine wise. Any other mods needed to support it fuel wise? (bigger injectors/fuel pump) thanks

nitrous done correctly actually puts less stress on you block than a blower would... thnk about it... power at a push of a button verus power all the time... blowers are constantly putitn pressure on the block... nitrous is just occauanal... talk to Full Auto.. that make can hook u up with anything u need... some great deals too... when i get nitrous his my go to guy... and with a wet nx kit u wont beed to upgrade you injectors like a dry kit... a new fuel pump wouldnt hurt tho.. but u can get a 255lph for 100 bucks and a few hrs of work... which is a hell of a deal im my humble opinion... if u got more questions ask.. i was goin to go nitrous forever.. but i decided to get a few bolt ons first... i would differently send Full Auto a pm tho... i had a package setup with him for a nice price and it had nething u could imagine it in... it was hella nice... with i get my car to the point i want it at ill be cashing out on nitrous from him... he knows way more than i do so talk to him ask him questions... u got a fox body so if u got money get a novi 1000 with the nice lil setup that will give u 8-10psi for 2200 then a nice 50-100shot of nitrous and holy **** u better have some sticky *** tires otherwise ull need new ones lol

Brand? Dry? Wet? Trust me, a 50-75 shot is going to last you about a week, if that. You'll be spraying at least 100 before you know it. Retard the timing ~2* for every 50hp shot. The more timing you can run without detonation, the better. Larger fuel pump would be nice. If you go with a 100-125 shot, I would recommend a one stage colder spark plug. If you're running stock heads, that would be Autolite 24s. Close the gap down to around .035 to avoid spark blow out. As I've said on here before, I'm a friggin nut. I spray a 110 dry shot with stock injectors and stock fuel pump and no tune. [8D]

Agreed but I wouldn't go past a 100shot with stock fuel pump. Around 100 shot under higher RPMs is when it starts to become lean...but this is just my recommendation.....not facts

also make sure you get a window switch, wot, and so on to keep it safe. personally i like NX as far as companies go. they will rebuild your solenoids for free if you send them in. they also make the fire and ice bottle heaters which are hella nice. and i would reccomend a plate, as opposed to a nozzle. just my opinion

WOT switch definetely. Window switch just keeps you from spraying below/aboce certain RPMs. Nice=yes. Needed=not always. Hobb's switch is something that I do recommend though. NX and Cold Fusion seem to be making some of the nicest kits right now. If you go wet, I would go with a plate system. I like my dry setup just fine.

Wet injects fuel and nitrous at the same time via a nozzle or plate. A dry system injects only nitrous and adds fuel by upping the fuel pressure to the injectors. I sprayed a 75 shot for about 2 weeks.

Please be sure to do LOTS of reading and research before diving into nitrous. It can be very dangerous to you engine in inexperienced hands.
