if you want to keep the SC to install on another car, then I would also remove the fuel pump, injectors, and ECU and replace them with stock units. The ECU is programmed now to see boost, not vacuum and it probably wouldn't want to work too well without the boost.

if its not too hard to do it would be nice to have the supercharger disconnected so u dont put wear on ur engine, then hook it back up for the track or some street racing, the bad thing is when a camaro pulls up a long side of you u cant excatly get out of the car and hook it all back op, its gonna take some work

I suppose you could always find and hook up an electrically operated clutch on the blower so that it wouldn't turn unless you engage the clutch, like Mel Gibson does in "Mad Max". LOL You would have to have some larger clearances in the blower so it would pass air without turning for the engine to run without it, but I guess it could be done if you really wanted to do it.

Alright things have changed, I brought my car to the paint shop to touch some things up, and the day after i brought it, they gave me a call and said my sc belt shredded and the sc was pinging and screaming and then just died out. I was so f**cking pissed b/c it was running fine when i brought it there. They said the bearing is shot, what exactly does this mean? I know it can be fixed but for how much??Is it worth it??Would it be reliable?? Please guys help me out I really need to get this car running to sell it. Please help fellas.
