I personally think it's a little much for a manual
Ever actually driven one with a 4.10?
I drove my friends '03 GT with 4.10s, and if i remember correctly a T5 is geared a little lower than w/e that junk in the '03s is, and for normal street the 4.10s is more than Id want. So no i havnt driven 4.10s in a T5 but i know it would be even lower than it was in the '03.

The T5 is a 3.35 and the Tremec 3650 is a 3.37. You think you'd notice the difference?

well I'm also talking about 5th gear highway cruising. My friend's '03 in 5th only turned a lil more if not about the same RPM on the highway as my T5 with 3.55s O_O

Nonsense...You guys are scaring this poor guy into buying the wrong gear. A 4.10 in that car is a blast. In 5th gear at 75 mph you're going to be looking at <200 rpm more than the 3.73. He clearly didn't buy a 5.0 Convertible for the excellent gas mileage anyway...

well RPMs in my car are a lot higher than i was told. At 75 im pushing like 2400rpm, so with 4.10s id expect what, around 2800ish? Thats very high for a 5.0. My stock 3.08 was 2000rpm @ 75.

Nah...You'd be pretty close to what you have now. 2400 isn't very much at all. My Grand Cherokee has a 5-speed automatic in it. At 75, it turns a hair over 2000. Is it a stock LS1 with a T56? Of course not, but what do you expect?

The first question that should have been asked is...Does the car spend a lot of time at 75 on the highway, or is it just a stop light to stop light tire smoker around town?

Dude, it would not be close to what i have now, thats impossible. I think 2400rpm is a lot for a V8. The car does spend some time on the highway, but i like to know i can take it on the highway without turning insane rpms.

I know someone local who says in OD he can stay under 2500 at around 70... thats not too bad. And I agree with sideways, the 200 rpm difference (rule of thumb) difference isnt worthnot getting the better gear.
