Default Temp sensor location on intake...

On my new intake ( trickflow ) there are 3 different holes, look in pics. I screwed the sensor into the hole in the first pic. On my old intake it screws right after the thermostat housing on the intake. There is a hole in the same spot on the new intake, but it is larger than the other 2 holes, and the sensor wont screw in there. Is it fine where i put it ? Or can i get a new sensor for the size of the hole where it was in the old one ?

As long as it goes into the coolant passage it will be ok.

Pretty sure it does, i think all 3 do. But how would i plug the bigger hole ? It came with 3 plugs, but there only 2 of the 3 holes can be pluged cuz all the plugs are the same size. So in other words, there is no plug for the larger hole. Should i call trickflow ?

the top one you circled is for your air charge temp sensor (ACT), the temp sensor goes in the bottom one you circled, but you will need an adaptor to makethe temp sensor fit, I had some cheap parts store gauges in mine at first, and they came with the adaptor fitting, I had to use the same adaptor fitting for my autometer gauge too.

I'm goin back over there tomorrow to work on it more. And the ACT goes in the bottom hole i circled ? What kindof adapter do i need ? I'm not even sure where the ACT is on my car. There was notihng there on my old intake, so i'm guessing i would just plug that one ?

no, the top one that goes into the #5 intake runner is for the ACT.
I believe in 94 ford relocated their act sensor into the intake tubing.
if you have one there you could just put a plug in there.

Well the only reason i dont think anything goes there is because on the stock intake, there is no hole in it there. The only hole is the one for the coolant sensor, and thats right after the thermostat housing.

check your intake piping between the filter and throttle body for a sensor, this will be your ACT sensor, you can plug the one that goes in the #5 intake runner.

I think the adaptor you need is a 3/4npt to 1/2 npt.
not 100% sure on the sizes though.
easiest would be to take the lower intake and the coolant temp sensor to a hardware store and find the right one.
