Default Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting a KOER codes of

311 AIR system inoperative during KOER (Bank number 1 with dual heated oxygen sensors)
314 AIR system inoperative during KOER (Bank number 2 wigh dual heated oxygen sensors)

I have changed out my O2 sensors about 5 months ago. I believe the EGR valve could possibly be causing this. What other problems could there be.

My engine is stock. 94 GT 5.0

311 Secondary air injection system inoperative during KOER self-test (bank #1).
>Those are your codes
314 Secondary air injection system inoperative during KOER self-test (bank #2)

No, your smog pump isn't your EGR.

Both of these codes are related to your smog system...not your EGR. Your Chilton's manual should describe a test for each component in the smog system to help pinpoint the problem. I did mine like a year ago. It's pretty easy. First, you make sure that the pump is putting out air, then you check your diverter and bypass valves, then your check valves...or something like that. It should be an easy fix. Good luck.

By the way...and this may save you some headaches...if all of these components check out, you may want to verify that the smog tube that runs from the back of one head to the back of the other isn't clogged. Mine was, and was putting out codes even though the rest the system was functioning.
