Default Larger MAF?

Ive been looking around at what other people are running, and ive noticed a lot of people have a bigger maf than throttle body and egr spacer. like they will have a 76mm maf and a 70mm throttle body. why is that?

if you have an retriction you want it to be the T/B.....

the best bang for the buck is the 2002 90mm lightening maf which can be calibrated to any size injector
