a tune like that wouldnt be real great since you have a supercharger. and i would go w/ an SCT chip, but thats just my preference

There seems to be some range of quality to the SCT tunes.

Some guys have complained about the quality from certain SCT dealers.
I have no direct experience so I only mention it to encourage some more research on your part.

Stay away from any mail order tune. It won't be ideal for your car, if your lucky.
If your not lucky the car will run the same as it does now.

I recommend a dyno shop for a tune, or look into tuning the car yourself with a tuner like pms or tweecer.

one i cant dyno tune when no one within a 50 mile radius does it, two aint using a tweecer cuz i aint knowledgable bout all that n would rather not mess it all up, and three i was thinking gettin a sct or motorvation chip that they just make for my specific car and plug it in and go could i still do that for either company or you guys had any terrible experience with em?

what hes saying is w/o putting it on a dyno and tuning it, you're not going to be able to get a very accurate tune. someone could guess at it and send you a very general tune, but its not going to be very helpful

oh ya im well aware a dyno tune is most accurate, but there literally isn o where around here that does that, theres two dynos around here and there from like the 70s and not for tuning newer cars, i just would think a custom chip would be dam close n wanted to know any good or bad companies

hey guys found aplace actually around me, anyhow they said they can run it on the dyno but would need software from super chips or diablo to run it, cuz he doesnt have the software, but they dont make anything that ican find for 5.0s? so can i just get a custom chip like i was and then adjust timing on the dyno, because i dont know what software he is talking bout. just trying to figure out what i can do now, thanks

Is this shop known for doing doing stangs? If not it might be worth it to find a good reputable shop setup a time when they can do it and trailer the car to them. You might have to take a couple days to do this and spend more money but it would be worth it in the end. Thats just my opion, if it was my car i wouldnt trust any random shop.
