Default e7's

for those of you running e7's, regardless of induction type, what have you done to them to make them perform? i'm not talking about e7's on stock motors. i want people who have built motors.

what all has been done besides port work? and i know someone is going to say destumping and i have no flippin clue what that is so explain it.

Who the hell build a motor and still runs E7s? I went 11.6's with E7s (stock valves) on a stock shortblock with a 150 shot and an AOD. My buddy just went 11.47 yesterday on with his stock E7s on a stock shortblock and a 100 shot. He went a 12.80 N/A. Not bad for a Crower 15511 cam (.468 lift) and Explorer intake.

I'll sell somebody my e7's if they're lookin for a cheap pair to work with. I'm in NE ohio, unless you want them shipped ( which would be around 80+ )
But i'm sure it would be cheape to buy a pair of gt40's or gt40P's rather than put the money in the stock heads. Unless ofcourse your going to do the work yourself.

I would not spend dime one on a set of E7's. If your in a bind and have no cash then maybe just put new seals in them and lap the valves but thats really all I would do. If your talking about porting and getting a valve job then your better off putting that money towards a GT40/GT40P set up and getting the 20-30 mor HP that they will give you.

$hit...I have 2 sets of bone stock E7's I'll give to someone if you come over and pick them up. I wouldn't even waste the energy to put them in a box and print a UPS label for them.
