Default Noises when turning??

I have a 1992 Mustang GT and when I make a turn my front end clicks and whines, im guessing the rack and pinion are weak, does that sound right??If not what could it be?? If it is the rack and pinion, where could I find a good one for cheap?? If it is the rack and pinion hiw hard is it to install a new one?? Thanks

Does it make like a Pop/Bang-like noise when turning sometimes?

This could be a lot of things like worn bushings on the front sway bar, lack of grease in the ball joints and tie-rods, whole bunch of stuff could account for this. Suggest you get the car to a good front end shop and let them inspect if for you and see what they find worn out or needing repair.
