Default clutch problems?

Hey guys i've got a couple of problems. First off, when my motor is at 2,000 rpms i've got a vibration like i've got mud tires. It doesn't matter if i'm in neutral or driving it will vibrate. But, when i push in the clutch it goes away ( in neutral or moving).
Second question is, when i start my car it makes a squeeling sound when I crank the car but it instantly stops when it fires. It seems that these are both clutch problems but i'm not sure what's wrong. This clutch is only a year and a half old. I'm just getting tired of fixing one problem and thinking everything is ok then the next week i'm under the car again. I know it's almost 20 years old but....damn!

sounds like maybe your pilot bearing might be bad and the starter also. You need to pull out the tranny and look closely.

Check your u-joints, engine, and trans mounts first before you pull the trans.
There was someone the other day having similar problems. He pulled the trans out and found the input shaft flopping all around with a bad bearing under it.
