Default competion time

today i went with my buddy to pick up his new mustang it is a 2000 gt with magnaflow catback,( which sound bad a$$) off road hpipe, pulleys and a programmer. i am getting a 97 explorer motor and i going to port the heads and possiblily the intake. i have a 95 gt that mac hpipe and catback, i have had the car for a month. i also plan on putting 4:10s and a trickflow cam, and a ecu swap for the cam. for now do you think that set up will be enough to get the best of him? i know that as soon as i am faster than him he will put a blower on so he can beat me again[:@]. but thats why we do it

With what I collected you'll have GT40P heads, cam, intake, gears and almost a full exhaust. Slap some DRs on there and drive it well and you'll be able to beat him until he's s/c'd.

would the 4:10s be the best gear or would 3:73s be a better choice. i have had mustangs with 4:10 and i loved them but i have heard that there isn't to much differece between them

no, thats not enough.

Hes has 2000 GT, EXAHUST AND TUNE.

300 hp right there. And that tune will make the BEST of each ponie.

Your best option is to do a HCI swap
