at what point does a8.8 brake and what brakes

probably somewheres around 400,000 miles. and im not sure what breaks, all depends how you drive it on when it breaks.

From what I have heard, the axles are the first thing to go with hard launches at the track.

I would guess that the axles are the weakest point because of hard launches like 86/02 said...

After a set of good/strong axles I would say the rear is good WWAAAAAAYY past the breaking point of the block.
