Default Having big problems

my car isreally **** up..... its smells like its running rich.... it idles horribly and after a min or so of idling it will start to die unless u give it gas... i put on a new mass air meter... its the same meter just transfered it over to a big housing... and hten an inlet pipe to as well and a throttle body and lt headers and prochamber, new spark plugs and spark plug wires, and new rotor and distributor cap... and i will put the new underdrive pulleys on when i can get it out to the shop were the air wrench is... i would take it to auto zone to get the codes read but im afraid ill only make it half way or sumthan it will just crap out on me... anyone have any ideas??? mayb it needs a tune...

does anyone have any advice on were to start... i havent drove hte thing for 3 weeks and its killing me... were should i start to look for the problem??.... ive looked to make sure all the bolts and everything are tighted down... but i really dunno what else to do

Did you try to reinstall any of the old parts to make sure you don't have any defective parts, just a thought. I am not trying to dumb you down.

set your idle screw ion some more and get it ideling. then take off the connector on the IAC(side of the throttle body), and loosen the idle screw until the idle comes down to what you want it to be. then set your tps voltage. try this first and then get back to us. Oh, also, take your IAC off the car and clean it with brakecleaner. that'll help also

Is your mass air meter calibrated to your injectors?

its the stock meter but onto a differenet holder... so i would think so... i mean.. unless the step up in airflow is throwing things off

So you transfered the electronics to a new housing? Is that correct? If so, what meter did you go to?
