Well, when I was commuting I almost rearended someone 3 times because the person in front of me slammed on ther brakes. know I could use new tires but, man my car just locked up, tons of smoke surrounded me. It felt like I had a set of bicycle brakes on a semi....Has anyone ran into this problem on their stock stang? I'm looking into getting a brake kit to not only switch to disk brakes all around but also 5 lug...any suggestions?

Stock fox brakes suck i switched to cobra all the way around because of the same reason.

so the cobra brakes make a huge difference, because all of the brake kits I've looked at are like $1200.00

cobra upgrade is definately one of my next todo's... cause fox breaks are the biggest POS's ever.

Did you buy the cobra r kit that also converts you to 5 lug mpswirl?
