Installing equal length headers....
I was driving around yesterday and suddenly I hear this ticking, Im like F*ck!.. I thought I cracked a header, since I couldnt see any broken welds.
So I began tearing it apart a go to find out I blew a header gasket, And since I have a set of BBK equal lengths I figures ill put those on since they flow better.
They look kinda hard to install, How hard are these things to install in a car, Ive done it a bunch of times out of the car.

Just did mine last week. You are going to need to disconnect your motor mounts from the chassis and lift the engine up with a jack under the oil pan. I had a leak on my drivers side valve cover so I had removed the upper intake to get the cover off which turned out to make the install of the header much easier. It is not that bad of a job, but don't be surprised if you find that your motor mounts are in need of replacement if they have not been replaced yet. Take your time and be careful when you lift your engine.
Good luck
Good luck
I've installed them on mine. Its not that hard.
The only thing to worry about is the spark plugs. I have
GT-40 Heads and my plugs are angled out which makes them
easy to remove. My plug boots are also angled out.

it was kind of a pain but i didnt need to lift my motor but I did have to pull all the olug wires off and remove the dipstick. No biggie though, mainly it was just a pain getting them to twist and slip in the small gap there....
what did you have on there?
edit read cardomain, just keep the unqeuals the equals only give a few more ponies and are more difficult to install and have a greater risk of burning wires

if you have the correct plug wires there should be NO risk of burning up your wires. And they look WAY cooler than unequals as well as the performance differences. I figured since i was swapping might as well do the best. I dont think equals are alot harder to do than unequals either.
