I think you need 10.5 wide for 315's

they should but i'm not sure... imo nitto makes pretty ****ty tires i never used a 555r but i did have some of the 450r and hated them, burned them off as fast as i could to get the warrantie and use the money for diff. tires

I had 275 BFG's before and even though I loved them, they don't last more then 4 to 6 months. I know the Nitto's last a lot longer

they do last a lot longer because the are a harder compound rubber which means the don't grip hardly at all... get some proxie 4's i had them the grip nice and the still have about 25% tread on the rear and about 75% on the front had them since april '05.. and i do burnout constantly

beat me to it ...nittos for some reason aren't as wide as other brands. they're good street tires, but really not the best DRs for track use, i'd even go as far as saying they're the weakest ones you can get.

Even if they weren't more narrow than the other brands, a 315 would still fit a 10" wheel. As far as them not hooking as well as the other brands, I haven't had any problems hooking at all.
