^+1 on the wheels.

also i have my old grey interior if anyone is interested.

the thing about black interior on a fox is that everyone wants it so when your buying it on ebay every ******* and their cousin is bidding on it. if you could find a whole car at the junkyard thats the best bet. but watch out for things like door panles being power or non power windows, the rear plastics had different seat belt locations like the 89 had no shoulder belt were as the 91 did so you will have plastics that look funny. but most of the stuff is interchangable.

I know a guy about 1/2 hour from me who sells mint OEM black interiors for $800. That includes main carpet, hatch carpet, door panels, seats, dash, quarter panels, rear seats, center console, etc. He owns about 30-40 mustangs. He buys and sells for a living.

All I did was bought interior spraypaint from o'rielly or advanced auto. I took my dash out and all the other interior pieces it's really a piece of cake. A few things you do wanna buy in black is seats and carpet.

There is a website www.customrearseatdelete.com He does a lot of tricky stuff and the stuff he sells fits perfectly. I'll post pics of what he has done to my car later.

im in the process of converting to black. I am buying carpet, headliner, seats but the hard plastic panels im dying I bought a black dash out of a mustang but since have dyed my console with flat black interior color and it looks idential to the dash. no difference at all

the black trim area on the fox body interior panels is painted from the factory you ever notice that in some spots where interior is worn on the black part you can see gray or tan(depending on the main color on the panel) around the quarter glass on the dash where its black in a gray car is painted from the factory.

ORIGINAL: philthy89fifty

i spent roughfly 700$ (not including my seats) converting mine to black that was because i tried to stay away from painting anything. ebay nickle and dimed me too death. theres nothing to it. the toughest part was fitting and cutting the carpet. no matter what they say nothing fits like original.
