Default Acceleration Problem

Drove car to school this morning (about 40miles away from home) because it was such a nice day out, and noticed something is real screwed up on it, and never felt like this before. Seems to be when i give it a little more gas, about 3/4 mark to when i floor it, the car isnt accelerating properly. As in, i kno how fast the car is, and if i were to race it right now, itd probably run a 18second 1/4. Any clues as to what it is? Almost feels like the right mixture of fuel isnt getting to it or something, but only when its really pressed down in a gear AFTER 1st, i didnt seem to notice any problem with first, just 2,3,4. Could be wrong tho. Any help is appreciated!
