i need a pic of where the strut bolts to the spindle. thanks if anyone has one.

ok ill try to explain.

pulled the wheel off to replace wheel bearings because i have play in wheel but when i seen where the spindle bolts to the strut theres a space there and i was wondering what is supposed to be there i imagine a spacer but wanted to see what ford put there this is my first mustang so not sure what was used i have worked on plenty of cars most have spacers just wanted to be sure. its not a whole lot of space but enough to have a little play in wheel....

and because im cool

 

there shouldn't be any spacers where the spindle bolts to the strut. the spindle should slide over the strut and install the bolts.

 

yep but theres a space there. it should be tight........

 

then either one of the parts is wrong or bent.
