how easy?
so i've been looking at putting a cobra bumper on my car so i get tail pipes out the back but i have an aftermarket turn-down catback system... how easy is it to convert it if i can find a good welding shop to make it fit? or is it better to just go ahead and buy the 400 dollar catbat system new for a LX?
is this even practicle?

Right before it gets turned down you can have a shop weld up some kind of tip.
Also, converting to a cobra rear bumper isnt hard. You have to rivit the bumper onto the support (never did before) and than its like 3-4 bolts on each side of the support and a couple on the sides. I put an LX bumper on my GT car (converting it) with help from a friend and it took about 1/2 hour.

If u got 400 buck to throw around get a new system. If on a budget get some made up at a shop.

tips? I would go with 3' tips but than again my SLP kit came with 3.5' tips and I thin they look great. i havent put them on the car yet though because I am also waiting to get a Cobra bumper.
Also exhaust shops will vary.... atleast around me they do.
