Long tube headers, Intake, Heads and a cam if you know what you're doing, maf, throttle body...That should get you there no problem.

a great first mod is the caps lock mod. you push it and your letters are automatically all lower case. this way it is easier for everyone to read, it doesnt look like you're yelling, and people will be more likely to respond with helpful info.

welcome to the forums

Welcome to the site! First, let me start by saying to take the caps locks off lol

Second, first I would start on your suspension before you start jumping into power. Yea I know, it sucks doing suspension first but you will need it. FIRST things first, get yourself a nice set of subframe connectors, control arms, etc. Than when you are ready to build your motor. Go with a nice set of trickflow twisted wedge heads, afr165's, canfields, etc. For a intake manifold you can go with something like a trickflow track heat, etc. And for cams the TF stage 1 cam works well. Basically if you want to make things less complicated TrickFlow sells a kit for like $2,200 dollars which comes with heads, cam, u/l manifold, valve covers, timing chain, gaskets, etc. But remember, you should also get some supporting mods like a 70mm tb, 73+MAF, 190l/ph+ fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Welcome to the forums. First things first:

Now that we got that out of the way...onto the mods.

With only $3,000 it may be a bit harder to reach 330 RWHP. But there are ways to do it.

1) Get a nice supercharger and bolt that on there. That by itself will get you there (about 10 PSI or so of boost)

2) Get a nice top end kit (Like the Trick Flow Kit.) That will run about $2,200 and will get you a new camshaft, cylinder heads, and upper / lower intake manifold. But that will only get you to about 285 RWHP. You can use nitrous to get the rest of the way.

I got a supercharger (Procharger) and nitrous for $2,821 and that brought me to 430 RWHP from stock.

You may also want to do some small things here and there, like get a nice set of gears for the rear end to increase acceleration (3.73s or 4.10s.) You can also bump your timing a few degrees to gain free HP (A How-To article is inthe Tech Articles post stickied above.) If you haven't yet, remove the air silencer and get a nice filter like a K&N.

That's just a few ideas.

I'm not sure he could reach 330 RWPH from just those mods. He would need to see an increase of about 140 HP to reach 330. I think those would get him closer to 290 - 300, but not quite 330.

$285 rwhp... thats interesting jp

Anyway, were you talking about 330 to the wheels or 330 from the motor?

Anyway, I think your best bet would be a trickflow kit with a nice set of gears (3.73-4.10's). And if you are not happy with that go with the spray or a cheap charger like a Novi 1000 or a SC trim from vortech which will run you about 1800.

Full bolt ons, the right heads and cam set up? Maybe a ported set of Trick Flows with a radius valve job, and a bee hive spring with some nice rollers. I think it could be done. Nobody asked if it would be easy...He just said he had $3,000. I could do it with $3K.
