Default Subframe connectors

Do they make bolt in connectors for people like me that cant weld but in full length or only in the shorter versions. I jsut read aobut these full length connectors in another forum.

just get the full length weld on's and take it to a shop. its worth it.

do they line it up or do i do that work or is it rather easy to figure out where they go im new to this and looking for some help with how they go on???

if you look at the subframe, under the door there is no frame, they bridge the gap between the 2

get the hpm's that have t-bracing and bolt to the drivers seat then weld on the subs

it will support the floor so the seat rests on the frame not just the sheetmetal.

even a muffler shop can do it, they just need to grind to clean metal, weld them, then spray some black on them so they don't rust at the welds probably $50 in labor

bolt on subframes will loosen up and eventually under enough stress loose thier purpose, just do it right with weld in's

Yes they do make bolt-in subs..but....it is MUCH more benificial to get the weld in ones even if you have to get them done. The bolt-in ones eventually loossen up and you don't get nearly as much stiffness.

I have MM's full on my 95 gt It was very easy and the bolt to the seats and weld to the frames.

thanks for the help guys i understand how they work but the only part i dont get is where they go in the front and back? I Know they connect the subframes but is there a certain location to how far in from the sides and positioning and how parallel they are to the side of the car when welded?
