Subframe connectors
Do they make bolt in connectors for people like me that cant weld but in full length or only in the shorter versions. I jsut read aobut these full length connectors in another forum.
if you look at the subframe, under the door there is no frame, they bridge the gap between the 2
get the hpm's that have t-bracing and bolt to the drivers seat then weld on the subs
it will support the floor so the seat rests on the frame not just the sheetmetal.
even a muffler shop can do it, they just need to grind to clean metal, weld them, then spray some black on them so they don't rust at the welds probably $50 in labor

Yes they do make bolt-in subs..but....it is MUCH more benificial to get the weld in ones even if you have to get them done. The bolt-in ones eventually loossen up and you don't get nearly as much stiffness.
thanks for the help guys i understand how they work but the only part i dont get is where they go in the front and back? I Know they connect the subframes but is there a certain location to how far in from the sides and positioning and how parallel they are to the side of the car when welded?
