ported heads
91 302 engine in 88lx coupe, is it werth the time to port stock heads vers. new heads, and what about staying efi or going to carb. i'm kinda thinking about carb...but, most still run efi....what would be more benificial?
Depends what you're looking to do.Do you know how to work on a carb setup? If not you'll not be happy
If so go for it. I'm converting mine to carb over the winter,I don't have the thousands of dollars to upgrade the fuel injection system,engine controllers,fuel pumps,ect, If I go with a carb set-up I can fix anything that goes bad for 100 dollars or less! MONEY is my factor

actually, the 88 is a step in the right derection. I would rather tune EFI on a speed density setup ANY DAY over MAF... My old probe was speed density, and my cobra soon will be.
As for the heads. throw those e7's in the garbage and find yourself some nice GT-40 or GT-40P heads... both come from explorers.
