Default mass air conversion problems.

So I attempted to do the mass air conversion today. I got a mass air harness, mass air unit and a9l. I installed the harness and whatnot and It wouldnt start. It was on my 88. I noticed the fuel pump would not turn on. by the ecu there is a extra plug that did not go to anything under my dash that was unhooked and i noticed to wires cut but the car it came out of was a running vehicle so i figured i could install it so it would run and figure out from there.

Since it didnt work i put my 88 harness back on and its running again.

I think its a issue with my harness, So I just want to take the harness apart, and use the mass air plug with my old harness.

Does anyone have the article to do this using the stock harness wire coloring as refrence as to where to install it?

SO what did u do? You got in intire EFI harness or just the MAF harness?

Theres 4 more wires what need to be moved and spliced. One controls the cruise control and the other is for the fuel pump.

i used a whole new harness... i guess there was something different with it but i didnt have time to figure itout so i put my 88 harness back on...

ill just use the plug and wires to do the job the article says and hopefully that will take care of it.
