Default Mass Air flow conversion

My 87 has speed density right now and i want to convert it when i get heads cam and intake. The only one I know of is FRPP kit. I dont really want to fork out $600 for the kit and end up throwing away half the kit when i need bigger injectors with MAF sensor and a cold air intake. Anyone not use the FRPP kit or can i order the computer and wires seperatly?

Junk yard is your friend and so is the search function.

Go to your junk yard get a computer, meter and Maf harness and thats all you need besides the tube.

You can buy a plug at ford for under 10 bucks, get a remained computer at NAPA for $107, and buy a used 94/95 meter like this one if you plan on keeping 19lb injectors and a adapter off ebay and will be all set. Then you will just need the tube from the meter to the T/B

This plug that i get at ford is this the wires that connect the MAF to te rest of the harnes? All I really want is the computer and the wires from the FRPP kit. Then buy a MAF that is matched to 24# injectors & CAI.
