some people try to claim saleen made one, and have posted pics.

but i have to say the answer is no

Saleen did make a notch Saleen, most were '89s. Happened when a deal by a Police dept(can't remember what state) fell through and a lot of notches were sold at a discount to Saleen and were converted to Saleen specs. Real sweet cars, very hard to find, but they surface from time to time. Saw a very rare 1992 SAAC MK II Mustang, super sweet car! 300HP engine, 5 lug conversion, 4 wheel disc, GT body kit without lower body scoops and LX tail lenses. Twin stripes from nose to tail and tri-stripes(Shelby style) down the middle(above side moldings). Went with a friend to see a '93 Cobra, but the owners aren't interested in selling(original owners too), car is just getting sun-bleached and just sits parked[&o]. Maybe one day they'll come around......

I had no idea. A friend said it to me & I said I didn't think they ever made one & if they did then I've NEVER heard one word about it. He said, "I know for a fact they made them." I said, well we'll make a post on it & see what they say.

Yeah, it's a shame, maybe they're waiting to win the lottery or something[&o]. What's worse is the interior is apart and it's parked on the street! Black, factory sunroof, factory CD player, gray cloth interior......factory wheels are in great shape(still on car and tires are full of air). Has tons of cobwebs underneath it and the exterior rubber parts are just in horrible shape.....some people are just clueless....similar to the fellow that owns the only surviving '68 Mustang from the movie "Bullitt"(only two cars built), even poor old Steve McQueen tried to buy the car before dying, guy told him "no".....this person still owns it and is "waiting" to restore it "someday"......classical A$$hat[:@]
