Default 93 seats need help

I have the 93 sport seats in my car and I need info on 2 things. First the drivers seat back os twisted a bit to the right as in my right shoulder sets back frome the left. Is the frame twisted or is something loose. And is it repairable.
Second the upholstery is very worn, tolerable for now, but will need to be replaced. What is a good source for covers or new upholstery that is good for the budet minded like me.

not sure about the frame of the seat being twisted. but i would check local upholstery shops. dependsing where you are. there is a place near me, in glen burnie, md....called dave's trim shop. they did a realy nice set up for my buddies car. covered seats in gray laether with black inserts & black head rests. not sure what it ran him, but the job was great. when i had my chevy truck, i put a set of those wet okle (sp?) seat covers on. they were really nice. form fitted to the seat for a perfect fit.

The spot welds break in the seat frame. The metal also tears. If you have access to a mig welder it is an easy fix. If not take it apart and take it to a shop that has one.
Remove the seat and the seat back. Take the cover off the seat back. You have to depress the lock on the headrest to remove it. Remove the lumbar support air bag. Bend the seat back into shape and weld cracks and broken spot welds. Also add extra welds to the seams so it wont break again. Inspect the bottom seat frame for cracks and repair as needed.

I never purchased seat covers so I can't help you there.

The seat being cranked like that is from someone power shifting like a mad man. Once it's cranked it won't be the same. If you're going to get new seat skins I would say go to a local boneyard and pick up a new seat that isn't twisted and go from there with the skins. 50resto.com may have the skins if you want a diy job too.
