i have a 5.0 and i have stock heads, cam, and no electrical or carb intake.

whatshould my next mods be i have 300 bucks, and i thinking of a air gap elderbrock intake, but i do not any any after market heads or cam, so what should i get.

is there any aftermarket heads for 300??? used?

or cam???

 

for drag application also, and also any if u can tell me wat brand and type please

 

iron gt40's sell for $300, you would only bolton about 25 hp if you don't port them a bit, you can spend just a couple hundred bucks on porting the exhaust, and a good valve job, bolt on closer to 45 probably

heads , gears and nitrous are the 3 biggest improvements you'll see for the money

the thing with the gears is that it cost 200 to intall it at my local perfomance mustang shop

 

Install them yourself, its not as bad as it seems

 

If this is a drag application and you dont have gears yet, that should be the next mod hands down

 

yeah im leaning towards it now, but i head installing them yourself is hard becuase you have to use like a magnet and have to be presice and it you mess up that it could tear it up .... but if yall want to hekp me out on that and lead me on step by step it worth a try.


also i using a c-4 tranny so is there certain gears for auto tranny, or can i use just the regular 8.8 pinion and gears

 

also ill be using 4:10 gear for the 1/8 mile on 28 by 10.00 by 15 rims slicks
