Default quick..STUPID question

Tomorrow im getting my clutch and tailshaft seal and bushing installed from this guy my best friend knows who we usually do the local toking up with

we arent the best of buds, hes a cool guy i just rather not sit in there with him while he works on my car.

how long should it take for it to be finished? He owns a shop, well he works at a tranny shop and installs them everyday, i jsut dont want to sit there all day on my day off.

Default RE: quick..STUPID question

It would take a stab at it, a clutch job should take about 2 to 3 hours depending on how the exhaust comes off, then you have to pull the tail shaft off the tranny, pound out the bushing and seal and put a new one in...maybe 1 to 2 hours. I would guess, at a good pace about 5 hours if things go ok, if they go good, maybe 3 hours.
