Default Explorer Heads>?

I got a 1994 mustang gt 5.0 and this man is selling his engine with heads and everything i was wondering if those heads can fit on to my 1994 mustang gt 5.0? i heard they can but i really dont know so i am asking yall.

explorer 5.0 heads will fit, but wouldn't be worthwhile unless the explorer is a 96 or above

Sorry he is selling his 1998 for explorer engine. v8 i heard that it has gt40 heads ?

You can search the forum and find out for sure, but I think 1996-1997.5 had reg gt-40 heads. But they won't flow as well as aftermarket gt-40. Better then stock though

i dont know performance wise the difference, but the spark plug configuration is different, the plugs go in almost at a 90* angle to the head, wheras a regular plug would go in at about a 45. The design requires different headers
