running straight pipes??? help

Default running straight pipes??? help

ok so i got flows on my 90 gt i dumped them, but i had the guy cut the cats off the stock h piipe, but it still has one pair, the upper one?? i was thinking if i'm not going to pass smog anyways what if i run straight pipes to the mufflers what would happen??

well still run a h or x... but yea, **** cats... im gettin rid of mine later this month w. an off road h pipe in place of the stocker

the thing is i don thave money for an h or x but i think the guy can make me an h pipe but what if i just run straight pipes??

Running straight pipes will be loud as **** and will get very annoying IMO, but i did it on my bronco when i had no money so i know where you are coming from

I have heard that running stright pipes will hurt your valves because of the cold air coming back in too fast and warping the valves, but i think if you have straight pipes all the way back you should be fine

if i did do it i would be running straight pipes until the mufflers and theyre dumped already so will that hurt it?

you will be fine that valve thing is sorta a myth the only way you might hurt them is if you run with no exhaust manifolds

Ohhhh i thought you were talking no mufflers. I am running straight pipe to the mufflers right now. I wouldnt think twice about it, go for it!!
