i think maybe u should ask ur neighbor again if it was a 350 or 351 b/c if it a 351 we would love to help and ur best bet mite be just bore it out to a 357 and get a huge cam and nice heads
but if it is a 350, i would stop postinng here cause noone will help u if u put a small block chevy in a stang[:'(]

i think he said 370rwhp... but i kinda thot i was low too... i dunno tho i have done no research on 351s.... i may just be assuming the have and a$$load more power than a 302... i dunno tho... cuz a good h/c/i on a 302 with bolt ons like full exhuast air intake and bigger tb would get u close to 350 rwhp if not not mistaking... ya thats top of the line stuff... but still thats what mayb like a 3 grand setup... and even then thats a nice h/c/i for 3 grand... and a lil more aggrsive tune and cant u hit about 325-350rwhp with a 302.... plz feel free to correct me i honestly dunno about hte 351 all that much... and i have yet to do my h/c/i so who knows....

Well first off R. Barns set up is a daily driver. To get that much power out of a N/A 302 your probably looking at a huge cam, that probbaly wont have very good street manners. Does anyone on here have 350RWHP out of a N/A 302? I have an HCI swap and only see 273RWHP, i know mine isnt the most powerful set up out there, but even with some extreme stuff 350 is alot

I would like to see some dyno results of people make 325-350rwhp on a 302
and not revving it to 7,500rpm
Most high performance 302's make 350hp+/-, 350hp makes about 285rwhp
Grabbem88 with his 6,500rpm 302 with custom cam and AFR 185's probably just breaks 300rwhp
bone stock 5.0 makes about 190rwhp, so I'm making about double stock hp at the wheels .... and it feels like it
and not revving it to 7,500rpm

with a good H/C/I package it is easy to break 300rwhp.
I have pretty much the same mods as grabbem, but with a much smaller cam, and I made 305rwhp and 315rwtq with only 11 degrees of timing,
