would a gt-40 intake off an explorer be a good intake to put on a 351

your going to need a lower intake off of a lightning for it to work, I would go with something that flows a little more

keep in mind that i m onyl doin a big cam and a little pan p to hte heads so nothing radical at this point, but edlebrock rpm, rpm 2 or what

im partial to edelbrock myself
edlebrock makes a good 5.8 efi intake... but dont count the lighting lower out with the explorer upper.. if you port match them to match each other and then port the lower to match the head then they will flow pretty good. the explorer upper actually outflows the tubeular(sp?) gt-40 upper stock for stock.. not by much on the hp side of it but by a considerable amount on the torque produced but it still outflows it. in the future when i plan to do a roller 351w swap i am gonna run the edlebrock for intake for it.

i am gonna make it sd b/c i dont have the money for a maf setup so that also limits me
