Default vacuum leak question

what problems would i see if i had a vacuum leak, i have a couple holes i need to plug up, but i just wanted to knwo what problems it could cause if i didnt fix it, if any.

hmm the only problems ive had so far is the idle feels like its cammed out pretty bad...
oh and another question, what would cause my gas pedal to stick? occasionally it wont go down.

im not sure i know where ALL the leaks are, i know of 3, just smog pump stuff, removed the smog pump awhile ago and just havent ever filled in the holes....and i installed a 1" intake spacer and i think i might have a leak there too...

lol its like everything is going out all at once, fuel pumps goin out on it, my tranny went out awhile back, these vac. leaks, and a couple otehr things ...fixed all but the pump, and the leaks...
