my 90 i guess is fixing to bite the bullet i hear knocking on the inside somewhere in the engine even though it has good oil pressure and isnt leaking and doesnt seem to be off lost any power and doesnt smoke but something is wrong..........any suggestions it does leak a little anti freeze somewhere but it does have 279,000 miles on it.......she has been a great one..............and with the mods on it and the way its been driven i cant blame it for laying down......

 

is there ever any antifreeze in the oil, sounds like maybe a thrown bearing but maybe you can get lucky and just have some ticking valves?

 

its doesnt have any antifreeze in the oil and doesnt smoke, but i definately know that aint valves ticking.......

 

if your rods are knocking i wouldnt even be driving it, the less you drive it the longer it will last, lol.
